Liposuction
Surgery is the removal of unwanted bulges created by excess localized
fat deposits. Tumescent liposuction is the most advanced
and safe method of performing liposuction; when properly performed,
it requires only local anesthesia which is the reason for its remarkable
safety. A small tube (microcanula) is inserted through a tiny incision
placed in an inconspicuous location and the unwanted fat is removed
by a high pressure vacuum, thereby eliminating areas that are out
of proportion with the rest of your body.
At Skin and
Cosmetic Solutions, Dr. Fernando R. Puente
has been performing Tumescent liposutcion since 1994 and
as of January 2002, he has performed Tumescent liposuction
on 1,500 patients (over 6,500 cases) without any complications.
