Sculptra™, injectable poly-L-lactic acid, is a new soft tissue product used off-label for cosmetic purposes. This new non-surgical facial restoration product has been safely and effectively used worldwide to treat a variety of facial volume and contour deficiencies, such as facial folds and sunken cheeks.

Facial volume is restored through a series of approximately three injections administered about three to six weeks apart. Used mainly as a filler to restore volume to cheeks, touch-ups may be necessary at one – to – two year intervals. Sculptra™ injections require no downtime with only minimal bruising or swelling.
